What is the dream team?
The Dream Team is a group of incredible people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them. From creating a comfortable environment by serving on the Hospitality Team, to leading the next generation to Jesus by serving on a Point Students Team, to crafting a dynamic experience with the Worship/Production Team, to tearing down barriers across our city by leading a Small Group—we are a group that forcefully advances the Kingdom of God.
WHERE SHOULD YOU SERVE?
PARKING TEAM
Our team serves as the first impression for those coming to The Point by welcoming people on and off the property and by providing a safe and efficient parking experience.
GREETING TEAM
Every Sunday is somebody's first Sunday. Our Greeting Team Wants everyone to feel welcomed. If it is someone's first time or fiftieth time, we are glad they are here. Our M.O. is giving smiles, handshakes, high fives, and hugs. You will find us at the front doors doing what we do best, loving on people.
POINT KIDS
Our team invests in the lives of children through worship, Biblical teaching, videos, Small Groups, and games. We have classes available for nursery, preschool, and K-5th grade. Because safety is important to us, each child is checked into their class and given a security tag with a code that matches their parents tag. This helps to ensure that each child is accounted for and released to the correct parent after class.
THE POINT STUDENTS [THE 603]
Our team helps students get connected to THE 603 through Youth Nights, Small Groups, retreats, conferences and special events.
POINT WORSHIP TEAM
Our team facilitates a powerful worship experience through vocals, instruments and audio engineering.
PRODUCTION TEAM
Our team works together to create attention grabbing concepts and themes. We assist in the production of the overall worship experience, using lights, cameras, and other visual elements.
USHER TEAM
At the Point, we create environments where all people can encounter God. Our Usher Team helps with this by assisting people to their seats, handing out worship guides, facilitating the offering, and helping maintain a distraction-free service environment.
HOSPITALITY TEAM
Our team hosts our Dream Team members in Dream Team Central by providing food and encouragement prior to services and special events.
LANDSCAPING TEAM
Our Landscaping Team helps keep the outside of our building looking beautiful. They maintain our flower beds, flower pots, and anything else that helps with curb appeal. If you don't mind getting your hands dirty and have a green thumb, this is the team for you.
